Rafferty farms is an aquaponics, it is a soil-less, closed-loop, growing concept that utilizes important microorganisms to convert waste from their fish into vital nutrients for our plants, which detoxify the water before it returns to our fish. Their unique system saves freshwater, incorporates sustainable technology, and does not expose your food to synthetic fertilizers, herbicides or pesticides. Rafferty Farms goal is to create an off-grid, sustainable aquaponic greenhouse in the years to come. They currently use wind, solar, and solar thermal to supply parts of their operation. Their packages that their product comes in are re-usable.
